Several ingot denominations surfaced in the 1960’s none of which are real. There are 4 known gold ingots currently, all of which are located at the Smithsonian Institution. One 8 dollar ingot is also listed as Goldfield at the Smithsonian with no markings indicating as such.

While the mold of the previous bar is more traditional – a tall flat rectangle — this one is somewhat more crude in nature and looks nothing like it. The present ingot being very wide, thin, and skinny with a slightly irregular shape.
