Condition as issued. The face of the bar gives the weight “5.75 OZS”, the fineness “999 THOUS”, and the name of the assaying company “T.F. CALIF. ASSAY CO.” The back and sides are plain. The dimensions are approximately 61mm X 19mm x 9mm. Issued circa 1970.

By 1985 these bars were better to be understood as modern origin even though they first started appearing around 1971-1972 in Seattle, Washington area.
